The IOP at Adira Health & Wellness offers a flexible schedule, with sessions held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4-7 PM. This allows clients to continue with their daily responsibilities, such as work or school, while receiving the intensive treatment they need.
The IOP program at Adira Health & Wellness is a hybrid model, offering both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate the needs of our clients. This flexibility is particularly important for individuals who may have transportation challenges or who prefer the convenience of virtual therapy. Whether in-person or online, our IOP provides a supportive and structured environment where clients can work on their recovery.
At Adira Health & Wellness, we believe in the healing power of restorative yoga. This gentle form of yoga is designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. Restorative yoga involves holding poses for extended periods of time, often with the support of props such as blankets and bolsters. This allows the body to relax deeply, releasing tension and promoting a sense of calm.
Restorative yoga is particularly beneficial for individuals who are in recovery from trauma or substance use disorders. Trauma can cause the body to remain in a heightened state of alertness, leading to chronic stress and anxiety.
